No, our shampoo bars are sulfate-free. They gently cleanse without stripping the hair of its natural oils, leaving your hair clean and nourished.

Wavy hair can be easily weighed down, and is more prone to build up than other curl types, so we recommend using our clarifying peppermint shampoo bar for a deep cleanse, our lime & bergamot conditioner bar for injecting some softness and shine without any greasiness, and of course, our stellar styling product: our curl defining custard!

Coarse hair tends to struggle more with dryness, as it’s harder to get moisture to penetrate all the way into the hair shaft, and to lock it in once it’s there. For tighter curl patterns, it’s also harder for the oils from your scalp to travel down to the ends of your hair to keep it conditioned. We recommend using our extra gentle baobab shampoo bar, for that super gentle cleanse that won’t strip any excess moisture or oils away. If your hair is particularly dry and coarse (the individual hair strands are thick), we would recommend using our oat silk & shea deep conditioner to really nourish your hair, strengthen it and give it that bit of TLC that it craves. Our curl defining custard works amazingly on all curl types- so it’s great for those coarse curly coils too!

No, our products are palm oil-free. We are committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility in our formulations.

All of our hair care products are gentle and suitable for children age 3+. However, we always recommend performing a patch test before regular use, especially for sensitive skin.
